Zoom App Integration and Test Guide for HelloBiz Insight.

This guide provides step-by-step instructions on how to add, use, test, and remove the “Zoom” app integration with HelloBiz Insight. It ensures seamless connectivity, proper functionality, and smooth deauthorization when no longer needed.

1. Adding the "Zoom " App to HelloBiz-Insights

Step 1: Log In to Your Customer Panel 

  • Start by logging in to your customer panel using your username and password. 

Step 2: Go to the Integrations Menu 

  • Once logged in, find and click on the Integrations menu. 

Step 3: Click “Connect with Zoom” 

  • In the Integrations menu, look for the Zoom option and click the Connect button. 

Step 4: Redirect to Zoom Marketplace 

  • You will be redirected to the Zoom Marketplace in a new tab. 
  • If you are not already logged in to Zoom, you’ll be prompted to log in to your Zoom account. 

Step 5: Authorize the “Zoom ” App 

  • On the Zoom Marketplace page, you will see a request to authorize the “Zoom ” app. 
  • Click Authorize to grant permission and allow the integration. 

Step 6: Complete the Connection 

  • Once authorized, you will be redirected back to your customer panel. 
  • “Zoom ” app is now connected with HelloBiz-Insights. 

You are now ready to start receiving Zoom call data through webhooks. 

2. Using the "Zoom " App

Once the “Zoom ” app is connected, here’s how you can use it to receive and manage Zoom call data. 

Step 1: Receive Call Data 

  • Once configured, your HelloBiz-Insights will start receiving real-time call data from Zoom. 
  • The data will include details such as call start and end times, participants, and other relevant information about Zoom calls. 

Step 3: Monitor and Manage Data 

  • Monitor the incoming call data via HelloBiz-Insights’s dashboard. 
  • You can view the data and extract reports. 

3. Testing the "Zoom" App Integration

Testing requires pre-requisites e.g. lawyer should be assigned to customers.

Step 1: Make a Test Call Using Zoom Phone 

  • Initiate a test call via Zoom Phone.

Step 2: Verify Data in HelloBiz-Insight

  • Go to the HelloBiz-Insight dashboard and check if the call details appear in real-time.
  • Ensure the data matches the actual call details.

 

4. Removing and Deauthorizing the "Zoom" App from HelloBiz Insight

If you no longer want to use the "Zoom" app or need to disconnect and deauthorize it, follow
the steps below.

Step 1: Go to the Integrations Menu 

  • Log in to your customer panel and navigate to the Integrations menu. 

Step 2: Find the “Zoom ” App 

  • In the Integrations section, locate the Zoom app. 

Step 3: Click “Disconnect” 

  • Next to the “Zoom ” app, you will see an option to Disconnect. 
  • Click Disconnect to disconnect the app from HelloBiz-Insights. 

Step 4: Confirm the Disconnection 

  • A confirmation prompt will appear asking if you’re sure you want to disconnect the app. 
  • Confirm by clicking Yes, Disconnect. 
  • This will not only remove the integration but also deauthorize the service, revoking the OAuth token.
  • Once these steps are completed, the "Zoom" app will be disconnected and
    deauthorized from HelloBiz Insight as well as Zoom account.

 

5. Key Notes

  • The app uses OAuth tokens, which are revoked during deauthorization.
  • The app uses webhooks, which are deactivated and deauthorized after
    disconnection.
